what's happening

“whats.happening” is a 325th Services Squadron initiative to provide the widest dissemination of information for and to the Tyndall community including active duty family members, retirees, and other agencies and their families.  Information for publishing via email is submitted by each Services facility to the 325th Services Squadron Marketing Office via email or on a disk no later than close of business the day prior to the publishing date.  Items are published twice.  To receive “whats.happening” via email, send your personal email address to whats.happening@tyndall.af.mil <mailto:whats.happening@tyndall.af.mil>.  If you have questions, please contact Peggy Geil at Customer Service Number: (850) 283-4565 or DSN 523-4565.

  • For those whose husbands are remote or TDY longer than 30 days, the CDC 283-4747 has a “Give Parents a Break Program” where free childcare is available.  Space is limited so please call the CDC early.  A copy current shot records and CDC registration paperwork needs to be done before starting program.  For more info give me a call.

    The veterinary clinic in new offices in building 1309.

    West Nile Virus instructions: If a dead or dying bird is found, please contact the Tyndall Veterinary Clinic. Wear gloves to double bag the specimen in a plastic bag and bring it to the clinic. If you are unable to bring it to us at that time, it should be placed in a cooler on ice or in a freezer and submitted on the next duty day. There is no need to bring in specimens that have already begun to decay. Remember, the only way to contract West Nile Virus is from a mosquito bite.
